Two semesters before transferring

Continue discussions with advisors both at your originating institution and at IU, to ensure that you stay on track with your choice of courses. If you are on a specific transfer pathway like TSAP or STGEC, keep track of your progress so that you will complete the necessary milestones by the time you are ready to transfer.

Submit an admission and financial aid application with official copies of your transcript(s). Be sure to follow up on any potential scholarship applications as well. Many IU campuses have scholarships specifically for transfer students, especially for students who have completed the associate degree.

If you are applying to one of our residential campuses, be sure to also apply for housing.
