COVID-19: Transfer at IU
At IU, we are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation and impact this may have on current and prospective IU transfer students.
IU remains flexible in the acceptance of transfer credit per policy ACA-56 and ACA-66. IU will also continue to honor prior articulations, TSAPs, and other transfer agreements. Students, please continue to work closely with your current or prospective IU academic unit to ensure credit transferability and degree applicability into your IU campus program of interest.
In April 2020, the IU Articulation and Transfer Committee released the following statement: IU will accept transfer coursework from other institutions with grades of S, P, CR, or other, so long as it is for an academic term in 2020 impacted by COVID-19, and that the student's transcript (or other official document) describes the context for the non-letter grade. Course equivalencies and articulations remain in place and are determined by faculty in the appropriate academic discipline.
