Here are steps you can take to make the process go smoothly.
Step One:
Find out what campus you would like to attend. Explore your options at various IU campuses, make an advising appointment, and bring your transcripts to your appointment. (Once you have made the decision to come to IU, you will need to have official transcripts sent from all previous campuses attended.)
Step Two:
Discover and explore which majors are offered at the campus or campuses you are interested in. Learn more about specific course plans for any degree through IU Degree Maps.
Step Three:
Once you have decided on which campus you'd like to attend, apply to your chosen campus.
Step Four:
Find funding for your education through scholarships, grants, and loans. Each campus has its own grant, scholarship, and loan information.
If you are a former Ivy Tech or Vincennes University student, you may be eligible to receive an associate degree through the process of reverse transfer.
Familiarize yourself with policies that affect transfer students because some of these policies may directly affect how your credits will transfer.
