Here are steps you can take to make the process go smoothly.
Explore your options at various IU campuses, make an advising appointment and bring your transcripts. (Once you have made the decision to come to IU, you will need to have official transcripts sent from all previous campuses attended.)
Talk to the admissions department at your chosen campus—or check their website. You’ll need to know about the campus's admission standards and residency requirements, as well as any other information with regard to what you’ll need to submit along with your application.
Look at how your credits will transfer. Keep in mind that some of your credits may not transfer, or may not apply to your degree program. And remember, your credits transfer only if you earned a grade of C or above in that class (some exceptions are made if you have received the STGEC milestone from the originating institution).
