The UTO has created a Canvas training course with different sections for transfer faculty, staff, and administration members to become familiar with processes that evaluate the equivalency of courses that are transferred to IU. Each section is tailored to the role that transfer faculty, staff, or administration members have in the process of evaluating a transfer course.
In the faculty section of the Canvas course, there are 2 modules—a course overview module and evaluating transfer courses module. The faculty section of the course also provides resources on IU transfer standards, intercampus transfer, 100–200 credit, and the Master Course Inventory.
In the staff section of the Canvas course, there are modules that cover course credits–automated, test credit processes, military credits, student milestones, 100–200 level credits, non–graded courses, and the CTL process.
